The School Council plays a very important role in school life. They meet every month with a member of staff where they discuss any issues raised by children in the school. They also look in the ‘Pupil Voice’ box for any comments or suggestions.
Each meeting is chaired by one of the pupils. Minutes are sent to the head teacher so that any ideas, suggestions or comments can be discussed by the school staff. The council is very active and organises many events during the year such as coffee mornings, ideas for Children In Need and activities at Christmas.
