Governor – Mrs J Jackson

Leadership, management, training and communication knowledge and skills working in the public sector.

“I retired from the Civil Service in 2014 and moved to Frosterley in 2015. My civil service career involved extensive leadership and management work including leading training teams and working with national change projects.

I was a parent governor for 18 years during the 1980s and 1990s. Since moving to Frosterley I have become a volunteer helper at our village hall and I am secretary of Frosterley Women’s Institute.
I am also very interested in the heritage of our North Pennines and I am a member of a conservation society where I act as the volunteer coordinator.”
