Former Head of Governor Services in Lancashire, now retired.
“I moved to Frosterley in December 2011, following my retirement from Lancashire County Council where I was a senior education manager responsible for the development and delivery of all their school governance functions both statutory and traded.
During that time I served on a number of national committees and advisory boards on school governance and education matters. I have been a community governor at Frosterley Primary School since 2012, and I am chair of the Curriculum Committee. In my early career I was head of a large Geography Department in a secondary school. I was a governor of my children’s primary and secondary schools, including 6 years as chair of their primary school.
